Visiting a new church can be overwhelming. At West Jackson Baptist Church, we strive to make you feel like family the moment you walk through the doors. Don't be surprised if a complete stranger welcomes you like an old friend. To make you feel more at ease before you visit, here are some things to know:
How Do I Get There?
From Interstate 40, take Highway 45 ByPass North to Oil Well Road. Turn left on Oil Well Road. To see a map, click here.
Where Should I Park?
We invite our visitors to park in the Visitor Parking located adjacent to the main entrance.
Where Do I Go?
You can start by entering the main entrance. Once inside, you can stop by our Welcome Center located in the lobby. One of our members will be happy to help you decide which service to attend, which Sunday School class to visit and how to get where you need to go.
When Are Your Worship Services?
We have two worship services: the Contemporary Service and the Classic Service. The Contemporary Service begins on Sundays at 9:00 a.m. This service provides a more relaxed atmosphere and a praise team & worship band. The Classic Service begins on Sundays at 10:20 a.m. This service is more traditional with a full choir, orchestra, and hymns. We also have a Sunday Evening worship service at 6:00 p.m. and a Wednesday night worship service at 6:45 p.m.
How Do I Find a Sunday School Class?
We have plenty of opportunity for every individual to plug into a Sunday School class. From bed-babies to Golden Agers and everyone in between, we have an inviting class waiting for you. Click here to find a Sunday School class.
