Our Special Friends Class (for mentally and/or physically challenged adults) offers a weekly Sunday School class at 9 a.m. with Christian songs, Bible stories, Scripture reading, everyday Bible application stories, Christian fellowship, prayer, and snacks each Sunday.
Each year our WMU ladies at West Jackson provide a Valentine's Day Breakfast/Fellowship; a spring indoor picnic with good food, games and a mission action activity; and a class Christmas Party in December. Last year we had a wonderful camp day which included Bible stories, fishing, a wagon ride, crafts, fellowship, and a delicious catered Barbecue lunch provided by one of our members.
Our class is seeking to grow in our understanding of God's will for our lives as we study together and discuss our lesson each week. We usually have between 15 to 25 in our class including staff who are welcome to come with our class members. For more information, contact West Jackson Baptist Church at 731-660-4535.
